Superintendent of Schools, Mary Kay Going, joined the Moreland community in July 2015.  Under her leadership, the Moreland School District has revised and adopted its Strategic Plan and successfully passed the Measure G parcel tax that will benefit the students of Moreland through 2025.  
 
Before joining Moreland, Superintendent Going served as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services in the San Mateo-Foster City School District, as well as Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services in the Santa Clara Unified School District where she also held positions as elementary principal and classroom teacher.  Superintendent Going completed her Masters in Educational Leadership from San Jose State University and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice from California State University East Bay.
