Testing remains a key mitigation strategy to detect and curb the transmission of COVID-19. The CDPH recommends that antigen tests be considered the primary option for detecting COVID-19 in schools, compared to PCR tests. Schools will have COVID-19 tests available for students and staff that may be experiencing symptoms and will provide at-home test kits throughout the year.
Testing is available at the Moreland School District Office on Monday - Friday (on days school is in session).

To save time in the future, families can pre-register for COVID-19 antigen testing with Primary Health. Registration is good for 6 months. Pre-register here: https://my.primary.health/l/moreland-sd
Free At-Home Test Kits
Moreland will distribute free at-home test kits to students and staff as they are available. If your child is feeling symptomatic, please check with your school office for a free at-home test kit.
In addition, below you will find important information regarding free at-home test kits provided by local and federal agencies to all Santa Clara County residents, with no insurance required. This information is provided as a resource and any questions on these resources should be directed to the appropriate agency.
What to Do with At-Home Test Results
As a reminder, any time a student tests positive for COVID-19, keep your student home and contact your school immediately. School site staff will give you guidance on your students' specific case.
