The CDPH recommends that antigen tests be considered the primary option for detecting COVID-19 in schools, compared to PCR tests. Schools will have COVID-19 tests available for students and staff that may be experiencing symptoms and will provide at-home test kits throughout the year.

As a reminder, any time a student tests positive for COVID-19, keep your student home and contact your school immediately. School site staff will give you guidance on your students' specific case.
