Child Care

Moreland Opportunities Recreational Enrichment logoOur before and after-school child program is known as Moreland Extended Day. Child care is located on all campuses exclusively for Moreland School District TK-6th grade students. Moreland Extended Day partners with families and our community to support the success of the whole child. We focus on character development, social and emotional growth, health and wellness, problem-solving skills, and academic support.
During your child's time at Extended Day, they will have opportunities to foster friendships with their peers while expanding their learning through student-inspired clubs and workshops. Our curriculum includes daily homework time, snack, recess, outdoor group games, and STEAM activities. The staff's commitment to children extend beyond the program hours as we empower them to move confidently throughout their lives.

All Moreland families interested in participating in the Extended Day Program must enroll annually. For general information, contact our MORE Program Team at [email protected]. For site-specific information, please contact the site supervisor listed below.

2025-2026 Extended Day Open Enrollment

Under the MORE Program, Moreland School District offers morning care, after-school care, and TK Club. The open enrollment period for the 2025-2026 Moreland Extended Day has ended. Parents will be notified of their child's enrollment status no later than Friday, April 18. The Extended Day Program is open to all enrolled Moreland School District students. Currently, we have the Extended Day Programs operating at all campuses. Please see below for the program offerings for each site. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Please add your name here to receive more information on financial assistance.

Spaces are limited. If more students enroll than we have spaces, a lottery system will be used to place students in the Extended Day program. Students not placed in the program will be placed on the 2025-2026 waitlist.

Currently, all Extended Day sites are full for the 2025-2026 school year. Sites often get full in specific grades before the site reaches capacity. If you are interested in any available spaces, please complete the 2025-2026 Before and After School Child Care Waitlist form below. It is our goal to fill every available space at each site.

Once a space is available for your child's grade, and your name comes up on the waitlist, a site supervisor will contact you. Spaces only become available when a currently enrolled family withdraws or changes schedules. Please note your position on the waitlist does not transfer to the following school year.
