One Latimer and One Baker Destination Imagination (DI) team will advance to the 2016 Global Finals in Tennesse. Having competed against 230 other teams from throughout California at the State DI tournament, a middle school team from Latimer and an elementary team from Baker are two of 58 teams advancing.

Several Moreland teachers have been awarded Wells Fargo Teacher Innovation Grants from the Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF). Over 183 teachers submitted applications around Santa Clara County and 79 were awarded to help teachers create memorable, interactive and enhanced learning experiences for students.
