Moreland School District Hosts Apple Event for Bay Area Educators

January 16, 2018, San Jose, CA:  The Moreland School District will host “Deploying Apple in Education” on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Moreland School District Office.  Open to technology directors, managers, and integrators around the region, attendees will have the opportunity to learn and network with school districts deploying Apple devices.

Moreland uses Apple devices for staff and in the classroom, including Apple TV in most Moreland classrooms.  “Technology is constantly changing,” said Superintendent Mary Kay Going, “and we are grateful to have a strong technology and education services team at Moreland to make sure our students are receiving 21st century learning.”

“Deploying Apple in Education” will include presentations from Moreland’s Director of Technology, Denis Guerrero, as well as from representatives from Apple and Meraki.  In addition, attendees will have the opportunity for a roundtable discussion where attendees will learn about the latest features in iOS 11, macOS High Sierra 10.3, tvOS 11, Classroom 2.1, and Apple School Manager.
