Country Lane 4th Grader, Pranav, was recently named the 4th Grade California State CHess Champion after placing first in the California State Championship for his grade level.

MiM received a grant through the Classics for Kids Foundation that will provide Moreland's award-winning orchestras with half the cost toward four high-quality violins and violas. Currently, Moreland has approximately 1000 students in the 4th - 8th grade music program.

Moreland Middle School student, Ashwin Rajan, has received a Grand Award at Johns Hopkins University's Grand Award Ceremony in October in Baltimore, Maryland.

Easterbrook Discovery School's LEGO robotics team has qualified to advance to the Silicon Valley District Championship to be held in the beginning of 2017

Moreland Middle School (MMS) has been awarded the 2015 California Gold Ribbon Schools Award from the California Department of Education. MMS is one of 38 schools in the state that were given an additional honor of being selected as having an Exemplary Program in Arts Education and Physical Activity and Nutrition.
