Moreland Cafeteria Menu Details Available on Smartphone App

August 15, 2018, San Jose, California:  Sodexo, the Moreland School District’s Food Service consultant, has launched its new mobile app, So Happy, designed to connect families with each school menu option, nutrition information, and allergens.

So Happy has menu details for all 7 of Moreland’s school cafeterias.  Parents can download the app, see daily menu options and understand what’s in their children’s meals at school, such as the ingredients, calorie counts, as well as the nutritional and allergen information.

“I’ve worked with many families over the years whose child may have specific nutritional needs,” said Rick Kessler, Moreland’s Food Service Consultant.  “This app provides a level of transparency with clear product descriptions and graphs for every nutritional category that will really allow parents to talk to their children about their breakfast and lunch choices.  We’re really excited about the convenience this will provide families going forward.”

The So Happy app is available as a free download on the App Store or Google Play Store.  For step-by-step instructions to download this app, click here.
