San Jose, CA, September 28, 2022 - Free online tutoring is available for every Californian through a new initiative offering homework help in every K-12 subject and skill-building resources for adult learners. Funded through the state of California, students will be able to access real-time homework assistance 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Both students and adults can access support through any of the 1,130 local public libraries around the state by clicking on the “HelpNow” link to reach a one-on-one tutor. This pilot program, led by the State Library, offers assistance in Math, Language Arts, and other K-12 subjects in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. There is no age limit for those who can use the service. Adult learners can also access writing assistance, citizenship resources, and other tools.
The Moreland School District is proud to have a partnership with both the San Jose Public Libraries and the Santa Clara County Library District libraries. In addition to this free service, all Moreland students have access to a wealth of resources, including free in-person tutoring, essay writing support for middle school students, author events, eBooks and eMovies, and more.
