As the seasons change and fall settles in, I’m reminded how nature models growth and grace. The leaves on the trees turn into a beautiful tapestry of autumn without resistance. They release what’s no longer needed, trusting that letting go creates space for renewal.
As we head into the week of Thanksgiving Break, I invite you all to take time to pause, reflect and express gratitude for those around you. This fall has been busy, with so many wonderful community-building events. As you know, so much hard work goes into pulling those all together. I want to express my appreciation for everyone who plays a role in making Moreland such a special place. From staff, to students, families and our larger community - our partnership and steadfast commitment to our students is what makes Moreland special.
The District Office and all Moreland schools will be closed during Thanksgiving Break starting November 24. We look forward to seeing students and staff return on Monday, December 1.
It is an honor to be your Superintendent. I wish you a heartfelt week off with your loved ones.
Sincerely,
Dr. Clover Codd
Superintendent
