Made possible through a state grant, 53 Moreland Staff Members & a Board Member attended the Museum of Tolerance, the educational arm of the Simon Weisenthal Center, an internationally renowned Jewish Human Rights organization. The only museum of its kind in the world, The Museum of Tolerance is dedicated to challenging visitors to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts. The focus is to confront all forms of prejudice and discrimination in our world today.

I was born in Berlin my family runs my parents who were handicapped they couldn't speak and equipment what's the apartment house we were the only Jewish but we didn't have any problem until Hitler came to power he made no secret is plants  full body costume volleyball go to the Jews soon as he came to power everyday it was another long another restriction public school for 2 years then I was going out because I was the only Jew and I was put into a Jewish ghost was a 45-minute walk we were not allowed to use public transportation walk on the sidewalk the evening they had arrested thousands people  old people young people retarded people all kinds babies what is the end of the circle we saw them all sitting on the SS member sitting on the Sage as soon as you saw my sister and I called us and again maybe you have a lot of that stuff Jewish Visa some reason that's been there for 3 days no water no food Sweet Days Mama full villain devastation  when we March through the streets of Lynn the Germans was turn on the sidewalks Trap Team  happy all finally be getting rid of the Jews Hitler parmesan we got very little food and I know toilets never had married nothing NBA distended line Underground Level 10 push you into a wall and answer all handed women the lights went on and resovia in the prison cell tell his head hope that the whole world does an apple and what do something to have as Latin DVD Lozano girl taking care Let The Hope kept us alive Blue Heaven against pickup it is not about good customer service it is about recap rating the situation so you can have positive influence their parents being deported you're not understanding the why behind it and taking the time to talk to them how to share their situation because it's like the school is not on our side that's like what the parents think like they're part of the government part of them so don't say anything so yeah I think I started there was a focus on do walk out on Humanity in this kind of circles it back around 2 we are responsible for Marlon Moreland students so we can't solve the problem of that one video that was just so overwhelming but we can solve the problem of moral and we can solve the problem of the classroom and we can solve and I just that's why we started it and she was because we have to start it somewhere and that is movable started with us impossible was so impactful and so emotional seeing it was such a great experience Dillard's Billings like Craig another class  amazing amazing place I I was hesitant to do it first and play after walking away from it was a life-changer I thought how could I if I would not have gone I would have regret it for every moment this crap was really worth while they're there was in the moment wasted magnificent experience I've ever had in my life it was overwhelming it was power football and it just meant a lot it was really glad I got to go we just came back eighth graders came back from DC trip and it really complimented the Holocaust Museum and what we learn they are overwhelmed with with the history and the just the content and then the overwhelming feeling and Mig knowledgement that we as Educators have such an impact on what people look at how we teach kids to think and and I Come Away with her appreciation for my John and I'm going to love those children and come give you a little bit more awareness of how I treat people that just my students but also my colleagues and everything are there and have the responsibility to know that words can hurt how we can bring it back to school on on a daily level through everything you do and even though it was a group of 10 of us from our school if it will pay itself forward with all the people that we reaching and in an Empower afternoon so we allow them or our move and motivated to turn our words into action we are lodging a school by pedia lady from kindergarten through eighth grade next year on empathy
